Why we're called this
A tatau pounamu — a greenstone door — was the name for a lasting peace: a door closed for good on an old conflict, as enduring as the stone itself.
So many people are quietly at war with a technology they don't trust. Kaiārahi exists to make that peace — to walk you through the door and out the other side, unafraid. We are a kaupapa of Tatau Pounamu Limited, a Māori-led practice grounded in Te Tai Poutini, built by people who have spent years walking alongside others through change. The name is not decoration; it is where we are from.
Not for the people who already get it. For the ones standing in the doorway, wondering if the world changed its rules without telling them. It did not leave you behind — it just has not been explained properly yet.
